Free Community Dinner available

All Saints Episcopal Church, Second and Coal streets, Lehighton will offer a free community dinner from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16. Everyone is invited.

Kids Party Club planned

Peter's E.C. Church, 177 Main Road, Lehighton, (Franklin Township) is hosting a Kid's Party Club from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 18. Kid's Club Party offers Bible stories in a party atmosphere for children ages 5-12. There will be songs, Bible lessons, games and snacks. Lehighton AMVETS to meet

Lehighton AMVETS, Elwood Miller Post 106, will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Lehighton V.F.W.

Interested members are asked to report early to help judge this year's poster and essays for the Americanism contests.

CCCC plans meeting

Carbon County Chamber of Commerce will hold a mixer from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at the Mahoning Valley Country Club, 323 Country Club Road, Lehighton. The program will be hosted by Lisa Marie Halecky of Heritage Hill Senior Community, who will be speaking about the facility. Members are encouraged to bring a guest. LALLC plans meeting

Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at Carbon Career and Technical Institute in Jim Thorpe.
