Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers (PLRW) will hold its March meeting at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 10 at the Palmer Township branch of the Easton Area Public Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer Township.

The speaker will be award-winning romantic suspense author Autumn Jordon, whose topic will be 'Breathing Life into Your Novel With Emotion.'

The core of the romance genre is emotion. The core of any great novel is emotion. Jordon will share ways to touch a reader's heart and cause them to become emotionally invested in the characters' lives.

A native of Lehighton, the writing bug tickled Jordon's muse at the young age of 9. Later, she was a reporter and editor for her high school paper.

Her first paying publishing credit was with USA Today online magazine with a poetry contribution. She also published with the 'Cup Of Comfort' books.

With her first romantic suspense novel Evil's Witness, she became a RWA National 2009 Golden Heart Finalist and 2010 Golden Leaf winner. Other titles by Jordon include Obsessed By Wildfire and In The Presence Of Evil.

When not writing, she spends her time on many interests, including traveling with her husband. No matter what she is doing, she says she is always busy dreaming up ways to put the characters of her romantic suspense novels in grave danger.
