At least one person was injured Thursday evening when involved in a two vehicle crash along SR443 in front of the former Mahoning Valley Farmer's Market. The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. involving a mini van and a station wagon. It appeared the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions with the station wagon coming to rest in the berm of the eastbound lane and the mini van facing west along the berm of the eastbound lane. The driver of the van refused medical attention but appeared visibly shaken. Responding were the Lehighton paramedics, Mahoning Valley ambulance and fire company. Area fire police shut down the roadway rerouting traffic around the scene. Mahoning Townhip police are investigating the incident.
