SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS Serving cocktails and mixed drinks aren't a normal thing for guest bartenders Andrew Leibenguth, TIMES NEWS reporter and community advocate, and Conrad Flynn, past radio personality with Penns Peak Radio and of Concur New Media. That is what they did recently to help raise donations for the Carbon Tamaqua Chapter of the American Cancer Society (ACS). Also donating their talents were performers Cody Scott Sassaman, 20, from Tamaqua, and Jake MacLean, 21, from Oxford. The Restaurant at the Station in Tamaqua is hosting weekly "Celebrity Bartenders" from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday to raise funds for ACS. Next Wednesday's guests will be Tamaqua Mayor Chris Morrison and Council President Micah Gursky. Each weekly event also includes special music from guest singers or bands. To donate or for more information call the Restaurant at the Station at (570) 668-5020. Pictured socializing with guest bartenders Flynn, second from right, and Leibenguth, are visitor Nancy Zimmerman, left, and ACS representative Maureen Donovan, second from left.
