The Panther Valley Irish American Association seated its 2012 officers during a reorganizational meeting held Tuesday night at The Batter's Box, Summit Hill. They include, from left, John Tracy, Tamaqua, secretary; Tim Kurchak, Lansford, first vice president; Tim Hoben, Coaldale, president; and Tim Sweeney, Coaldale, sergeant-at-arms. Other officers are Tom McCarroll, Mahoning Valley, second vice president; Ben Walker, Nesquehoning, third vice president; and Bob Ames, Coaldale, treasurer. The association is making plans to hold the 65th Annual St. Patrick's Day Banquet on March 17 at The Grand Ballroom of Kelly's Irish Pub and Restaurant, Lansford.
