State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.

Troopers said about midnight on Feb. 2 Christine M. Naftzinger, 32, of Pine Grove, came to the barracks to report an incident. At the scene it was determined that Naftzinger was under the influence and had driven her vehicle to the barracks. She was placed under arrest for DUI and charges will be filed.

On Monday, Feb. 6, about 2:10 a.m. troopers responded to a one vehicle crash along SR443, just west of Church Road, in Wayne Township.

Troopers said Jason Tucci, 33, of Pine Grove, had operated a 2003 Honda Accord westbound at a high rate of speed when it crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a tree along the north berm. After striking the tree the car began to roll and landed in a drainage ditch. The car had traveled about 145 feet after the impact with the tree.

Tucci was flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment of serious injuries, troopers said. Troopers added that the DUI charge is pending blood test results. Damages to the Honda were disabling.
