Court correction

Published February 02. 2012 05:02PM

In a Carbon County court story that appeared on Tuesday, Jan. 31, concerning sentencing proceedings, an error appeared in one report.

The story stated that Joseph Anthony Pellegrino, 45, of Summit Hill, was placed on probation for a total of two years on charges of accident involving damage to attended vehicle and receiving stolen property. He was not charged with receiving stolen property but pleaded to a second count of false indentification to law enforcement officer.

He was originally charged with identity theft, fail to stop and give information or render aid, give false information, driving without a license, fail to carry license, careless driving and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.

In a plea agreement with the district attorney all charges were dropped in exchange for the pleas to accidents involving damage and false ID to law enforcement.
