A Palmerton man is facing charges following a traffic stop in Rush Township in Jan. 25.

Jeffery Gildner, 48, was stopped on Claremont Avenue, then transported to the to township police station for a breath test. The results indicated a .163 percent blood alcohol level, more than twice the legal limit. Other charges are also pending.The incident took place at 2:55 p.m.
