Officials from Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) and Albright College gathered at LCCC's Morgan Center in Tamaqua recently to celebrate Albright's program offerings at LCCC and discuss additional collaboration opportunities.

While Albright has offered its Degree Completion Program at LCCC in Schnecksville for more than a decade, it recently announced plans to offer two degrees (Organizational Behavior/Applied Psychology and Business Administration) in Tamaqua.

Albright's program provides adult learners with about two years of previous college experience the opportunity to complete an Albright College bachelor's degree close to home and in an accelerated format.

Albright will offer students with an LCCC associate's degree a partnership scholarship for this program.

Also eligible are alumni of Reading Area Community College and Luzerne County Community College who reside in the area and want to complete their bachelor's degree. Classes are forming for spring 2013.
