Shoplifting still taking place

State police have reported two additional incidents of shoplifting, a frequent problem that confronted them during the Christmas season.

Both incidents happened on Christmas eve.

State police at Fogelsville said at 12:36 p.m., a 16-year-old boy from Kutztown was caught stealing miscellaneous items valued at $18.08 from the WalMart store in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven said at 5 p.m., a 33-year-old woman was detained after attempting to steal a pair of sneakers from the Kohl's Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township.
