Schuylkill resident facing charges

Kim Sweigard Sr., 57, of Tower City, has been arrested by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks on charges of making terroristic threats.

Police said the charge stems from an incident at 9:15 a.m.. Dec. 26 at 622 E. Grande Ave.

Police said a physical domestic dispute occurred at the above location, after which time Sweigard brandished a revolver and made significant threats towards the lives of Timothy Sweigard, 55, and Betty Sweigard, 82, both of Tower City, and a 17-year-old boy.
