Published December 26. 2012 05:02PM

Lisa S. Williams, 49, of Orefield, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:43 a.m. Dec. 12 on Indian Creek Road in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said she was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. The severity of her injuries were unknown, police said.

Police said she was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu westbound when she went slightly off the road as an unknown vehicle traveling east approached her vehicle. Police said the Malibu struck a culvert and a side marker next to it, at which time Williams turned the steering wheel counter-clockwise to get back onto the roadway. Police said the car went across both lanes and hit a wired fence.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
