Marijuana candy discovered on I-78

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said charges have been filed against two Tennessee men after police uncovered suspected marijuana candy during a traffic stop at 9:43 a.m. Dec. 17 on Interstate 78 in Upper macungie Township.

Charges were Anton Garrison Moton and Daequon Charles Davis, both 29.

Police said they were initially stopped for a traffic violation, after which time police detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Police said a canine team was called in to search their vehicle, with a dog alerting authorities to the presence of a controlled substance.

Police said upon executing a search warrant they located drug paraphernalia and the marijuana candy inside the vehicle.

The men were transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center for processing and the filing of charges.
