Vehicles damaged in Polk accident

Two vehicles were damaged and one person sustained a minor injury in a crash at 6:06 p.m. Dec. 18, at the intersection of Route 534 and Dotter's Corner in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Police said the accident happened when a vehicle driven by Ryan M. Farry, 23, of 7 Dairy Lane, Brodheadsville, struck the front of a vehicle operated by Richton E. Penn, 28, of 62 Mountain Road, Albrightsville while turning onto Route 534. Police said the crash was headon.

Both vehicles were required to be towed from the scene.

Penn was uninjured but police said Farry sustained a cut on his left hand.
