Schnecksville woman hurt in accdident

Kathy L. Dvoracek, 50, of Schnecksville, was hurt in a three-vehicle crash at 10:44 a.m. Dec. 14 at the Hamilton Bouldvard entrance ramp to Interstate 78 in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said the severity of her injuries was not immediately known.

Police said the accident happened when George O. Hyatt Jr., 45, of Sussex, N.J., driing a tractor trailer eastbound on the entrance ramp, failed to notice a 2001Mercury Cougar operated by Marvin J. Zeisloft, 79, of Macungie, which was traveling in the ramp lane. Police said the front right bumper of the rig hit the left side of the Cougar, causing it to spin and impact the right passenger side of a 2012 Kia Forte operated by Dvoracek.

Police said Hyatt will be charged with roadways laned for traffic.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Macungie EMS and Lower Macungie Fire personnel.
