Salvation Army in need of 63 child's winter coats today

Members of the Tamaqua Salvation Army are asking community members to find time today to purchase and drop off children's coat in preparation for tomorrow's early morningholiday toy and food distribution. New or clean like-new coats can be dropped off anytime today until 9 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 105 West Broad Street. If the front door is shut,

volunteers ask that you knock on the door and someone will answer. They added that all ages, 0 to 14 (both boys and girls) are needed.For more information, call (570) 668-1234.Pictured at the entrance to the Tamaqua Salvation Army is an angel doll placed there in hopes that people will donate a child's winter coat.
