Three charged in Monroe incident
Pocono Mountain Regional police reported the arrest of three individuals in connection with a burglary and related offenses.
Police said on Dec. 5 they responded to 1111 Country Place Drive, in Tobyhanna, for a possible burglary in progress which was called in by a neighbor. She told police she saw a male enter the home stated above. A burglary was discovered at the residence.
Three hours later the neighbor called 9-1-1 a second time to report there were three males at the same residence loading pipes into a vehicle. She gave a description of the vehicle.
Police said they then identified a suspect in the case. On Dec. 11 police responded to 7085 Boulder Court, Tobyhanna, and placed Antonio Rivera, 35, under arrest as a suspect in the burglary. While at the residence police identified a second suspect, Vincent S. Janssen Jr., 25, and placed him under arrest.

Rivera and Janssen were charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief. Edmondson was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution and obstruction in adminstration of law or other government function.
All three were arraigned on the charges. Rivera and Janssen were committed to the county prison in Snydersville in lieu of bail while Edmondson was released on bail.
