Tamaqua woman cited for conduct
A Tamaqua woman just didn't want to let go Thursday morning, resulting in her arrest.
Police were dispatched to 400 Pine St. at 4:20 a.m. after Schuylkill County Communications received a call from Torrey Mueller, 36, who stated his girlfriend would not allow him to exit the apartment. When officers arrived they could hear a loud female voice from inside the residence.
Once inside they found Susan Reznick, 28, sitting on the sofa, clutching Mueller's leg. His pants legs were severely ripped and she continued to refuse to let go, despite Cpl. Dwayne Hacker's repeated suggestions. She appeared to be extremely intoxicated and began yelling obscenities, despite the presence of three elementary age children in the room.
Officers had to pry Reznick's hands from Mueller's legs, then took her into custody and transported her to the police station. She was cited for disorderly conduct and released.
