April Leona Gosnell and David William DeLay, both of Alexandria, Va., have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Debrah and Glenn Gosnell of Clarksville, Ohio.She graduated from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Ohio, in 2007. In 2011 she graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in professional writing.The prospective bridegroom is the son of David and Linda DeLay of Tamaqua. He is a 2005 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School.He earned a degree in political science and international relations in 2009 from West Chester University and a master's degree in security and intelligence in 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.Both are employed in the Washington, D.C. area.A spring 2014 wedding is being planned.
