CCTI students aid Alzheimer awareness

The Carbon County Career and Technical Institute (CCTI) proudly announced that during the month of September the Skills USA organization raised money to support Alzheimer Awareness.

Throughout the entire month there were many activities buzzing in the school including wear purple day, special ice cream and Rita's purchases during lunch, and the annual walk at Mauch Chunk Lake.In total the organization raised and donated $542 for the Alzheimer Awareness organization.Skills USA is an organization that helps showcase all of the technical skills demonstrated in the school.Community service is just one of many talents the school possesses.A school statement said "thank you to all students in the school for their great leadership and community involvement."
