The Padora and Berger families are sponsoring a "Bread For Toys" drive at the Padora's Italian Bakery in Tamaqua to benefit the Tamaqua Salvation Army's annual holiday toy drive. Anyone can stop by the bakery, 122 Railroad Street, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Monday to Saturday with a new toy and they will receive a free load of fresh bread. The drive starts today and ends December 17. Larry Padora and his father Mickey stated their dedication to serving the local community. The Padoras and Bergers are regular supporters of many local charities, to include the SPCA, Salvation Army, Toys For Tots, American Cancer Society and so on. For more information, call the bakery at (570) 668-3200.
