ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Contractors with Clearwater Construction have finished disassembling the large temporary steel bridge along Center Street in Tamaqua. The bridge was used to negotiate SR309 traffic around construction of the new Center Street bridge. Contractors will now spend the next few months removing the large temporary concrete abutments at both sides of the Little Schuylkill River. The only thing that remains of the temporary bridge are two large concrete abutments.
