Families from near and far stopped by Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe, on Sunday morning to visit with Santa Claus and enjoy an all you can eat breakfast provided by Roadies Restaurant.

Julianne Farina, marketing/public relations coordinator for Blue Ridge Communications coordinated the Breakfast with Santa. A portion of each of the 750 tickets sold benefited Dream Come True - Blue Ridge Chapter.

"This is a great event for families," she said. "It's a chance to meet Santa and its for a good cause. We had something for everyone. We had great Christmas music provided by The Doctor and there was a great all you can eat breakfast.

Harriet Visnosky, a board member of Dream Come True, was Mrs. Claus.

Families lined up to meet Santa. Aidden Platel of Jim Thorpe was one of the happy youngsters who whispered his "want" list to Santa Claus.

Many families also posed with Santa Claus for family portraits.

The event was sponsored by Blue Ridge Communications, Penn's Peak, Roadies Restaurant and Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter.
