A Coaldale mother of two children, Mrs. Brenda Kuba of Greenwood Street, who wants to become the first woman firefighter in that community's history, has filed a discrimination suit against the Coaldale Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, claiming she was denied membership because of her sex. Mrs. Kuba, who husband Michael is vice president of the fire company, explained, "I think I was the first woman ever to apply for membership in the company and the first person ever to be black balled."
