Ron Ziegler, who owns Ziegler's Towing and Auto Repair in Tamaqua, showed a kind deed by helping a Kline Township family struggling through the holidays.

It was just one in a line of kind deeds revolving around the Bahrey family and Ziegler.

A few weeks ago, Ziegler's flatbed tow truck was totalled after catching fire along a road in West Penn Township. Tom Banditelli, of Tom's Auto and Marine, Tamaqua, heard of his situation and donated the use of his flatbed tow truck to Ziegler until he is able to purchase another one. Ziegler was approached by an organization and jumped at the offer to help the Bahrey family by transporting the family's non-working car to the scrap yard.

The Bahrey's, who live on Haddock Road, are receiving help from a number of local organizations after a tree fell on their home during Superstorm Sandy. For more ways to help, call (570) 668-1234.
