Published August 31. 2012 05:02PM

The Mahoning Valley Drive-in in Lehighton is holding it's first ever Movie Marathon and Zombie Crawl today starting at 6 p.m. at the drive-in.

Organizers pointed out that the Zombie Crawl will be filmed in 3-D and uploaded online. The finished video will also be available for all to watch in both 2-D or 3 D.

Johnny Gothic, organizer, said, "I'm hoping that we can get enough people to come out as zombies to set an unbeatable world record (or at least the first) on www.RecordSetter.com for most Zombies at a Zombie Crawl filmed in 3-D at a Drive-In. They will be playing Ghostbusters all three nights. On Friday Aug. 31st, we will be welcoming local members of the Philadelphia Ghostbusters who will be on hand with their Ecto-1 vehicle.

The gates open at 5 p.m. and the Zombie Crawl starts at 6 p.m. Friday's Zombie Crawl movies will be "Ghostbusters", "Gates of hell" (AKA City of the Living Dead), "Burial Ground", "Curse of the Living Dead" and "Drive-in Massacre". Everyone that arrives dressed as a Zombie will get a free small popcorn. Rain Date for Zombie Crawl & Ghostbusters Appearance is Saturday, Sept. 1st.
