Man wanted in N.J. nabbed in Monroe
Pocono Mountain Regional Police report a traffic stop they made in Coolbaugh Township resulted in the apprehension of a Tobyhanna man who was wanted on a warrent issued in Morris County, N.J.
Police said they stopped a vehicle driven by Timothy Meade, 22, after observing it had an expired inspection sticker on it. When the vehicle parked in a driveway at 243 Pope Road, Tobyhanna, police ran a report that indicated the man was a fugitive from New Jersey.
He is lodged in the Monroe County Correctional Facillity, Snydersville, awaiting extradition by out-of-state authorities.
The traffic stop was made at 11:57 a.m. Aug. 26.
