Talent showcased at Tamaqua Community Arts Center

Numerous local and distant talent were showcased Thursday evening at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center (TCAC).
Talent consisted of vocalists, musicians and a poem writers. Some of the performers consisted of Mike Kernan, Susan Featro, Ivan Munoz, Damian Munoz, Steven Moyer, Cathy Johnston, Simon Maurer, Chanita Guerrero, Kathleen Quinn, Faith Roberts, Jacob Gursky, Adam Bachert and Katlyn Sprenkle.
The next free open stage event will be held at the center, 125 Pine St., on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. "The turnout was outstanding," said Leona Rega, center coordinator. "The visitors were really entertained by the diversity of talent."
Micah Gursky, TCAC director, stated his appreciation to Jack Kulp, Kathleen Kulp, Rose Marie Beck and all the other volunteers that help with the center's events. To volunteer or for more information about the center and its events, go to www.TamaquaArts.org
