A Schuylkill County driver was seriously injured in a one vehicle crash that was reported about 6:23 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, along Bunting Street (SR209), in Branch Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Montgomery L. Maser, 51, of Branchdale, was driving a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina westbound when the car went onto the berm and struck guard rail. The car then crossed over the westbound lane while spinning counter-clockwise 180 degrees into the eastbound lane. The car then crashed into a tree at 1370 Bunting St.Maser was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for treatment of serious injuries.
