Arrested on drug charges

Lansford residents Crystal Milner, 26, and Jacob Bynon, 31, were lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, on Wednesday after they were arraigned on drug related charges before District Judge Stephen Bayer. The couple was arrested by members of the Tamaqua Police Department's narcotics squad, in cooperation with the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force. The arrests were made after Milner and Bynon allegedly sold heroin, within the borough limits to an undercover operative on two separate occasions. The drug buys were video taped. Both were charged with two felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility, four felony counts of criminal conspiracy, and two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bayer imposed a bail of $25,000 straight cash bond for each incident. Unable to post the required $50,000 both were transported to the county prison. They were escorted from the hearing by Tamaqua Patrolmen Peter Wysochansky and Brent Getz.
