PLRW speaker to discuss 'creating with comedy'

Published August 20. 2012 05:03PM

Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers (PLRW) will hold its September meeting at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Palmer Township branch of the Easton Area Public Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer Township.

Anne Frazier Walradt, a freelance teacher, writer, and editor, will speak about how writers can create with comedy. Learn how to embed humor in your stories by starting with a comic premise and a comic vision.

Discover which techniques work best for you to lure your readers into laughing with you and your characters. Humor reveals character, relieves tension, sets the point, and makes readers return again and again to your unique voice.

The Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers group, a chapter of Romance Writers of America, is dedicated to promoting excellence in fiction writing by providing continuous support to its members, who are writers from the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountain areas of Pennsylvania, and western New Jersey.
