Parryville Borough Council, during a special meeting, decided to allow the "no peddler" sign in the borough to remain standing. Council President Arnold Souders, who earlier this month made a motion to have the sign taken down, said he rescinded his motion. He said he changed from his original view because of a clarification of borough peddling laws, which exempt farmers, bakers, butchers, and milkmen. The council voted unanimously to keep the sign.
