Schuylkill driver facing DUI count
A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a crash that occurred about 5:43 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15, along SR2004 (Tumbling Run Road), a mile west of Guers Dairy, in Blythe Township.
State police at Frackville said Carl Roman, 69, of Orwigsburg, was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion when it left the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle did not sustain any damage.
Roman was found to be under the influence and was transported to the barracks for a breath test. Troopers said a DUI charge will be filed in the matter.
