Local dealer scores a goal through successful youth soccer program
In the spirit of community collaboration and teamwork taught through youth sports, Rentschler Chevrolet is supporting Northern Lehigh Soccer Club through the Chevrolet Youth Soccer Program. This sponsorship will include both monetary and equipment donations during the Fall 2012 youth soccer season.
Chevrolet Youth Soccer is a grassroots initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve. Rentschler Chevrolet is sponsoring Northern Lehigh Soccer Club as a part of Chevrolet's nationwide commitment to support youth sports, one community at a time. Over the course of the season, Rentschler Chevrolet will donate equipment to the organization which may include: soccer balls, ball bags, ball pumps, field cones, coach's kits, corner flags, scrimmage vests, mini pop-up goals and first aid kits.
In addition, each sponsored organization will take part in the "Chevrolet Youth Soccer Breakaway Giveaway" which is a fundraiser in which each organization can raise $10,000! The "Chevrolet Youth Soccer Breakaway Giveaway" features a Grand Prize of the All-New 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, along with other great prizes such as HD Televisions, courtesy of the local Chevrolet dealership.
Also, thanks to Rentschler Chevrolet and other participating area Chevrolet dealers, youth soccer participants will have a chance to attend a youth clinic with local professional soccer coaches.
"We are looking forward to a great season with Northern Lehigh Soccer Club that will be filled with exciting games and an enhanced experience for the teams through the equipment and cash donations" Greg Williams, of Rentschler Chevrolet, said. "Chevrolet Youth Soccer is just one example of how committed our dealership is to supporting the youth and families in our community."
The 2012 program will provide assistance to an impressive 314 organizations in the Northeastern region and Chevrolet dealers will contribute over $500,000 in monetary and equipment donations.
