Arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

Troopers said charges of simple assault and harassment have been filed against Mark Joseph Pavlosky, 33, of Jim Thorpe, following an incident that occurred about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12, at the intersection of Behrens Road and SR903, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Troopers allege that Pavlosky struck a 36-year-old male from Jim Thorpe in the face causing an injury.

Troopers said Jason Lapp, 40, of Kunkletown, has been charged with simple assault for an incident that occurred about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, at 204 Eldo Lakes Drive, in Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers allege that Lapp attacked Michael Baldwin, 47, also of Kunkletown, struck him several times in the face and bit him on the arm.

Lapp was taken into custody and committed to the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.

Troopers said about 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, at 506 Blueberry Way, in Saylorsburg, Lisa Marie Ann Reid, 33, of that address, and Thomas Edwin Kram, 31, of 65 Linden Drive, Albrightsville, entered into a verbal argument.

At some point during the argument Kram allegedly shoved Reid through a doorway. He was charged with harassment, troopers said.

On Saturday, Aug. 11, about 12:30 p.m. at 134 Heiney Lane, Kunkletown, in Polk Township, Christine Mertz, 38, of that address, allegedly punched and kicked William Graver, 57, of Lehighton. She was cited for harassment, troopers said.
