The Palmerton man was injured Wednesday afternoon when involved in a one car crash along West Stagecoach Road in Towamensing Township. State police at Lehighton said the crash occurred about 3:40 p.m. Troopers said Konrad W. Goworowski, 54, was driving a 1999 Mercury Sable westbound when he lost control of the car. The vehicle crossed over into the oncoming lane and then struck a small embankment along the berm and rolled over once, landing back onto its wheels on the road. Goworowski was flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment of what troopers said was a minor injury. Troopers noted Goworowski will be cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed. Assisting troopers were volunteers from the Towamensing Township Fire Company of Trachsville.
