The Red Knights Motorcycle Club, PA Chapter 18, presented a check recently to the McFeeley family of Penn Forest Township.

The check presentation occurred at the Albrightsville Fire Station by Darin Weidner, president of the Red Knights chapter.

This check was presented to help the family with expenses due to a fire in their home on July 11.

One family member, C. J. McFeeley, is a junior firefighter with the Albrightsville Fire Department. Another member, Sandra, who is C. J.'s mother, is a fire police volunteer.

Other family members are the father, Chuck, and C.J.'s siblings, Danny, 13, and Rachel, 8.

Bruce Koch of Parryville, spokesman for the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, said the RKMC PA 18 started this fund to assist individuals or families in their time of loss due to fire. The fund is supported by Poker Runs and donations held periodically throughout the year.

Contributions to the family can be made to the McFeeley Fire Fund, P.O. Box 133, Albrightsville, PA 18210 or to the Red Knights PA 18, 1244 Cherry Hill Rd., Palmerton, PA 18071.
