Arrests reported by state police

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

On Friday, April 13, about 6:20 a.m. troopers went to the home of James and Karen Deppen, 1108 Laurel Drive, in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a domestic incident.

Troopers allege that James Deppen struck Karen Deppen in the back and grabbed her in the neck area during a verbal argument. He left the home prior to the arrival of troopers.

Troopers said he had a charge of harassment filed against him.

Troopers said Jessalyn Rider, 19, of Jim Thorpe, was cited for harassment and trespassing for an incident that occurred on Monday, April 16, about 11 a.m. at 304 Hatchery Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Rider went on the property of Alicia Jacobacci, 23, of Jim Thorpe, and threatened her. She was previously told not to go onto the property, troopers added.

Troy Greene, 44,of Jim Thorpe, was cited for scattering rubbish for an incident that occured on Sunday, April 15, about 5:30 p.m. Troopers allege that Greene dumped household garbage to the rear of 1583 SR903, in Penn Forest Township.

Troopers said a landlord-tenant dispute resulted in charges. The incident occurred at 7735 Pohopoco Drive, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers allege that Bernadette Serfass, 49, of East Stroudsburg, struck Kevin Koch, 48, and Tonia Howarth, 45, both of Kunkletown, in the face during the course of the dispute. Serfass was cited with two counts of harassment.
