Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following arrests.

On Sunday, April 8, about 1 a.m. officers on patrol observed two males walking north on SR115 near Paddy Kenny's Irish Pub, in Blakeslee. As the officers approached in their patrol unit one of the men jumped into the traffic lane and back.

Police stopped their car and approached the man, identified as Jonathan K. Allen, 34, of Long Pond. The second male was identified as Michael P. Bond, 42, also of Long Pond.

Both were intoxicated and said they were "fooling around" while walking back to their homes with a 12 pack of beer.

Allen was placed under arrest for public drunkenness and lodged in the county prison. Bond was issued a citation for public drunkenness and released.

Police said a 17-year-old male from Long Pond was cited for retail theft for an incident at Bill's Shoprite in Mount Pocono. On Monday, April 9, at about 6:42 p.m. police were called to the store for a juvenile in custody for theft.

Police said the teen removed an item from a display and placed it in his pants and left the store without paying for it. He was detained outside by a store employee until police arrived.
