Coaldale police expect to make arrests shortly in the case of a meth lab discovered at 40 E. Ridge St.
Chief Timothy Delaney said police investigating a possible meth lab at the address found residue on the ground, in a yard where toddlers play, and in a garage.
"We called the fire department after it was secured. Meth lab waste was thrown on the ground. Two children play in the yard, ages 1 1/2 and 2 1/2, and we were concerned. The fire department removed the waste from the ground and did the cleanup and disposal," Delaney said. "We do have a suspect, possibly more than one one. An arrest will be made shortly."
