Monroe incident

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported investigating an incident involving a taxi driver at a Mount Poocono residence.

Police said about 2:31 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, officers were dispatched to 10 Candlewood Lane in Mount Pocono for an incident. On scene officers were told by Mountain taxi driver Mark Mclean, 55, of Saylorsburg, that his vehicle was struck while in the driveway of the residence of Edward Clark, 47. Clark was backing out of the driveway and failed to see Mclean's vehicle and struck it.

Clark then exited his vehicle and came to Mclean's cab cursing and theatening the cab driver. Mclean attempted to exit his vehicle to check for damages when he was pushed back into the car by Clark. Clark then left and entered his home.

Mclean called police, who arrived about four minutes later. Police went to Clark's home but he was not their, apparently leaving on foot.

Police said Clark will be charged with harassment for the incident with Mclean and also for failure to supply information incident to the crash. Damages were minor to the vehicles, police noted.
