Nineteen zoning permits issued for construction

Nineteen permits were issued in July by the Schuylkill County Zoning Board in the courthouse in Pottsville with fees earnings of $4,275 and the estimated cost of construction is $340,576. Permits were issued to the following:

Jerry and Barbara Freiwald, East Brunswick Township, to construct a pole barn for $8,000; Stephen James Salko, North Union Township, a two story residential garage, $25,000; MBC Development, LP, Minersville, a Dollar General Store on site of former Waymart Supermarket, $100,000; Mitchell R. and Rhoda Zimmerman, Washington Township, pole style shed, $40,000.

Steven A. and Christine M. Skibiel, Cass Township, residential garage, $30,000; Heather M. Horning, Washington Township, residential garage, $21,000; Cora Wasilewski, Union Township, shed, $3,538; Michael and Eva Macker, Frackville, attached rear porch deck, $2,700.

Ronald R. Coles converting the former Mary Star of the Sea Church in Reilly Township, into a music studio, rental storage spaces for community meetings, church congregations, funeral and weddings, no estimate.

George and Laura Motil, Union Township, replace roof trusses on existing bank barn, $10,000; John W. and Dorothy E. Kaufman, Washington Township, shed, $4,938; Steven R. and Janice M. Dietz, Upper Mahantongo Township, implement building, $40,000; Vincent P. Bernoitas, Girardville, addition with roof extension, $11,000; Jeffrey Fritz, Washington Township, detached garage, $24,000; David and Valerie Schaeffer, Frailey Township, shed $1,100; Dennis Irvin Morgan, Frailey Township, shed, $3,500; Stanley Gober, Minersville, addition to rear of home for storage, $800; and H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Pine Grove, barrel roof for front entrance, $15,000.
