A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Monday, Sept. 26, following a gun-pointing incident at his home.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at 20 Hidden Acres Drive, in Washington Township, about 7:45 p.m. Troopers said Donald Wilcynski, 64, and Michele Wilczynski, 49, entered into a "mild" argument at their home. He then went into the bedroom of the home and retrieved a 9mm pistol. He then held it in his hand while threatening to do bodily harm to his wife.

Wilcynski was taken into custody at his home and charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats. He was arraigned before District Judge James Ferrier, of Orwigsburg, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville in lieu of $10,000 bail, troopers said.
