Lions to meet
The first meeting of the season for the Summit Hill Lions Club will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. at the Parkview Inn.
Dr. Kenneth Vermillion, president, will be in charge. This will be his final meeting as president, ending a 10-year tenure. He and his wife, Roxane, are relocating to Florida.
Dinner will be served. Members planning to attend must make reservations.
The club's program committee recently developed the theme "Lions on the Move" for the upcoming season. Accordingly, each month, the club members will meet at a different location.
There will be no speaker for this meeting, as a recap of the club's summer's activities will be discussed and plans for the year will be presented. New leadership will be taking over following this meeting.
