Two passengers were injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 11:55 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, along SR183 in the area of Chestnut Hill, in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Edward J. Ebling, 28, of Pottsville, was operating a 2002 Chevrolet W4500 truck southbound and stopped for traffic in front of him. His vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Marc Rousseau, 79, of Pine Grove.

The two drivers were not injured. A passenger with Rousseau, Marie Rousseau, 76, same address, was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville. A passenger with Ebling, William E. Headley, 54, of Tamaqua, sustained a minor injury, troopers said.

Troopers cited Rousseau for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.
