Jamie and Jamie Haydt of Lehighton, and their children, Lucas, 7 and Jessica, 5, rounded out their visit to the Palmerton Community Festival with a round of miniature golf at the Palmerton Library. Golfing in the library? Thanks to the library's Teen Advisory group, they created nine holes of miniature golf using favorite book characters as themes for each hole and paperback books as the "greenways." Jessica says she loved it and her dad said it was different and creative. Elizabeth Anthony, spokesperson for the Teen Advisory Group, said they are trying to raise money because they want more teens to become involved and the money they raise will help them do that. Mariann Kmetz, the library's assistant director, said "It's been a great event for the Teen Advisory Group and it's really been fun to see them shine."
