Search for missing woman in Coaldale

Firefighters, police and search and rescue teams spent hours this morning looking for a missing Coaldale woman in the woods and mountains south of Coaldale.

The missing person, Renee Underwood, 43, was last seen around 11 p.m. last night. Coaldale Fire Chief Rich Marek called in the Northeast Search and Rescue and their search dogs to assist. Responding in addition to Coaldale Fire Company and fire police were Tamaqua, Lansford and Coaldale police.
