Ghost hunter to lecture at Summit Hill center

Published September 14. 2011 05:01PM

The Summit HIll Heritage Center is beginning its fall lecture series with a presenter who is returning by popular request.

Blue Mountain Paranormal Society founder Bob Schaeffer will be presenting a lecture on the world of ghosts and ghost hunting as well as presenting evidence gathered from dozens of investigations over the past five years at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16 at the Heritage Center, located on the corner of Chestnut and West Hazard streets.

"Ghost Hunting 101" will draw on his experiences as a ghost hunter, leading the BMPS team and the equipment ghost hunters use to investigate incidents involving suspected paranormal activity.

"People are more open today to sharing their experiences and we have a sincere interest in not only documenting them, but helping them deal with ghosts. Some people do not wish to have such activity and unlike many teams who just document it, we have people in our group that can help them resolve their problems," said Schaeffer.

The lecture is free although donations are accepted. For more information, please call David Wargo at (570) 657-0792.
