State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a rear-end crash about 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan 12, at 340 E. Main St., in Hegins Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Daniel E. Nahodil Jr., 34, of Hegins, and Evan G. Snyder, 18, of Pitman, were both westbound with Snyder behind Nahodil.Snyder became distracted due to the windshield wipers cleaning his windshield and failed to see Nahodil stop to make a right turn into a driveway at the above-stated address.The front of Snyder's 2002 Volkswagen Jetta hit the rear of Nahodil's 2002 Ford Taurus. No one was injured with damages moderate to both vehicles. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, troopers added.
