Carbon County Special Olympics Pennsylvania remains in search of volunteers for its bingo tent at this year's Palmerton Community Festival.

The festival will be held Sept. 9-11 in the borough park. Set up day is Sept. 8. Volunteers are needed from 2-6 p.m. Sept. 8, 5-11 p.m. Sept. 9, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 10, and noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 11 to set up, clean up, sell bingo boards, raffle tickets, drinks, tally money and play bingo.If you, or someone you know, would like to volunteer, we would really appreciate your help. This fundraiser enables our local athletes to participate in several sports/competitions throughout the year.
